Final Exam Project: Serving-Learning
The final component to each student's grade will be completing a service-learning project. This project must utilize the skills and knowledge gained from the class, and it must have the following components:
- Needs Assessment – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to research, analyze, and communicate global issues.
- Project Proposal – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to brainstorm, think creatively, and prepare a proposal for a specific project that addresses a global issue.
- Project Implementation – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to organize, implement, and lead a project.
- Reflection – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to reflect upon their work and problem solve.
- Presentation – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to communicate and reflect back on their experience.
