Final Exam: Service-Learning

Final Exam Project: Serving-Learning

The final component to each student's grade will be completing a service-learning project. This project must utilize the skills and knowledge gained from the class, and it must have the following components:
  1. Needs Assessment – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to research, analyze, and communicate global issues.
  2. Project Proposal – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to brainstorm, think creatively, and prepare a proposal for a specific project that   addresses a global issue. 
  3. Project Implementation – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to organize, implement, and lead a project.
  4. Reflection  – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to reflect upon their work and problem solve. 
  5. Presentation – This part of the project assesses students’ ability to communicate and reflect back on their experience.
